The Sang Family's $2.5 Million Donation Transforms Postpartum Care in Central Valley

Fresno, CA — [October 10, 2022] 

The Sang family proudly joined hands with Community Medical Systems in revitalizing Central Valley's healthcare infrastructure. With a donation of $2.5 million, we will help support equipment and facility upgrades in postpartum care units at both Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in Fresno and Clovis Community Hospitals, improving postpartum health.

We shared this honor with Craig Castro, the CEO of Community Health System, Katie Zenovich, Senior Vice President of Development/External Relations, and the doctors and nurses of Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC).


The memorable ceremony, held on October 10, 2022, joyfully coincided with Dr. New Sang's 50th birthday celebration. Katie gifted Dr. Sang a vintage bottle of spirits during the event as a token of appreciation for his remarkable generosity. But above all the well wishes, we are most honored to have the units named after our family's legacy as "Sang Family Postpartum and Newborn Care."

We are humbly grateful and proud to be able to contribute to our community and local health facilities, knowing that 10,000 babies are born within the walls of this health system each year.


With an enhanced, state-of-the-art postpartum care center, countless families across the Central Valley can look forward to a brighter and healthier start in life for their newborns. After which, it is our commitment and responsibility at Sang Pediatrics to provide high-quality care to these children once they have completed their stay at the facilities.
